Oxfordshire kebab van has been named the best in the UK at the British Kebab Awards 2022.
Atalay's Kebab Van, in Thame High Street, was crowned Best Kebab Van of the Year alongside Gourmet Kebab in Caxton, near Cambridge.
Winners were announced at a glitzy ceremony in London where 18 awards were on offer. Other categories ranged from Best Newcomer and Chef of the Year to Best Kebab Van and Customer Satisfaction.
Members of the public nominated 5,012 kebab shops, which were slashed to a shortlist of 153 based on public votes.

The business posted about its success on social media, thanking customers for their support.
The team said: "Thank you to each and every one of our customers for all of your endless support over the years for us and what we do. We really appreciate it. Many thanks."
This is not the first time they have taken this price home, as they were also won Kebab Van of the Year in 2017 and 2018.
Two other kebab vans - Grove Kebab Van, in Grove, and Ahmed’s Bar B-Q, in Oxford - just missed out on taking the award, as they were also finalist on this category.
The kebab industry is now estimated to be worth over £2.8bn to the British economy and every day, more than 1.5m kebabs are sold across Britain by over 20,000 kebab outlets.
