A railway centre has taken the first steps towards improving their heritage site, looking to become more inclusive.
Didcot Railway Centre is currently working towards a site wide masterplan to refurbish, gentrify, and propose new facilities and attractions on offer to their guests.
The centre is looking to create two access routes, one being a stairway with increased tread widths. The second one would be a rap going from Subway to site level.

This last one is hoped to provide better access for visitors with limited mobility, mobility aids, as well as deliveries, and emergency access.
According to the site and access statement, a Didcot Site Development Programme is being created for the major building developments for the Centre that will enable the Great Western Society, who run the centre, to continue
to be in the forefront of the railway heritage.
