A DANCE school in Wantage is set to represent the country in the world cup of dancefloor moves.
The American Dance School, in Wantage, has successfully qualified to represent Team England this summer in Spain in the Dance World Cup.
Eight dancers, aged 11-18, will be travelling alongside director Jillian Clipsham to compete against 62 other countries.
Mrs Clipsham said: "The competition is the most prestigious dance competition in the world, therefore, to be successful in representing Team England is something a small dance school in Wantage would have never believed."
Only the top four scoring dance routines per category, per country are able to take part.
The Dance World Cup is held annually in a different location each year and more than 120,000 children from across the world aged from four to 25 try to qualify in their country for the finals.
Mrs Clipsham said: "We will be bringing a hip hop duet featuring Ava Tatum Hale andand Holly Helm called Barbie Girl, and a contemporary group called Harriet – with a dance based on the hero Harriet Tubman, featuring dancers Jessica Surman, Erin McMillan, Gabe O'Dell, Holly Helm, Ava Tatum Hale, Alice Green, Alice Ley, and Millie Brew.
