Romantic team engine fans who wish to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day will be able to do so this weekend.
Didcot Railway Centre will be open for Discovery Days on Saturday and Sunday – making it the perfect venue for vintage lovers. Visitors will be able to explore the 21-ace living museum and unearth almost two centuries of railway history.
As trains will not be running, people will have the chance to get close to the impressive locomotives.

For those who might want to wait for a slightly different experience, steam trains will be operating from next weekend.
At least one of them will be going through one of two demonstration lines, allowing people to take unlimited rides.
