Classical music fans enjoyed an afternoon of strings as music lit up The Beacon in Wantage.
On Sunday, Didcot Concert Orchestra took to the stage at The Beacon after the Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot temporarily closed for urgent maintenance work to be carried out.

Among an array of classical music pieces - some famous, some new - violin soloist and acclaimed recording artist Clare Howick performed the delightful Violin Concerto by Glazunov. She also performed the very rarely heard Nachtstück by Reznicek.
The performance featured only four horns, a harp and strings to accompany the soloist.
