Margaret Hall is one of the key organisers of this event, she said: “Stories like Treasure Island are great for audiences young and old and this story is not only timeless, it is a way for us to connect and engage with the local community, entertain local children and care for vulnerable children too.
“This will be our 21st pantomime. We started them back in 1981 and it has now become a village tradition, but everyone from Oxfordshire is welcome to attend.
“I feel as adults we all have a responsibility for the welfare of children and every single one has been impacted by recent events. We thought this would be a great fundraising event for the NSPCC, but also a way to combat the winter blues.”
The show is running from February 13 to February 19 at Steventon Village Hall.
