This weekend’s performance at the Cornerstone in Didcot has moved venues after the arts centre announced its temporary closure.
Didcot Concert Orchestra's performance on February 6, will now take place at The Beacon in Wantage at 4.30pm.
The ‘difficult’ decision to close the arts centre was made as urgent maintenance work that affects the heating of the building is needed to be carried out.

The Cornerstone apologised and expressed the importance of taking care of visitors and staff wellbeing:
“We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and any disappointment following this news, but given the cold weather we’re having, it’s very important to us to make sure we’re looking after the health and wellbeing of our visitors and staff.”
A spokesperson from South Oxfordshire District Council, who runs the arts centre said: “Whilst we’ve had to close Cornerstone Arts Centre temporarily to carry out urgent maintenance work which affects the heating of the building, we’re working really hard to open it up again as soon as possible.
“Classes are currently being relocated and fortunately, at the moment, we’ve only had to cancel three classes which had low numbers of people booked on.
“The team is working hard to get new dates and alternative venues for the small number of events we had planned. Shows are currently being rescheduled to be run as part of the future programme.”
