A WOOD supply store in South Oxfordshire will finally welcome customers back next week.

Oxford Wood Recycling, a social enterprise based in Abingdon, which collects, reuses, recycles and educates people about wood, will reopen from Monday.

The business made the decision following the recently announced roadmap out of lockdown.

OWR were forced to close on January 5 when the Prime Minister announced the third national lockdown.

However, the company continued to carry out our collections service and operate on a strict delivery only service for all wood purchases that would otherwise have been click and collect or an in-store transaction.

Now the doors can reopen customers can collect their orders, enter the shop to browse and select their materials in person.

A series of measures are being implemented to provide a Covid-19-secure environment for both the team at OWR and members of the public.
