THESE are two of our older residents, but they're still young at heart and looking for friends to mess around with.
Jones, our 14-year-old domestic short hair arrived at Blue Cross after his owner sadly became ill and could no longer care for him.
He is a chatty chap who likes company: in his previous home he was a real lap cat and he liked a gentle fuss.
Jones is looking for a quiet home where he can spend his days dozing, popping in and out into the garden and maybe doing the odd spot of hunting.
He is also very foody and get very excited whenever it’s dinner time.
Although he is an older chap, Jones is full of character and would be great company for someone who can offer him a lovely home.
Blade is an eight-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier with a big smile.
He absolutely love going for walks and playing – a very friendly boy who enjoy lots of attention. Although a bit bouncy at times, Blade walks well on a harness and has a good level of basic training. He also love treats and is eager to please and would enjoy continuing his reward based training in his new home. Training and play would really be a great way for Blade to bond with his new owners. Blade loves his home comforts and will happily be a sofa dog - he will make a fantastic addition to the right home and family and will be a lot of fun too.
If you could offer Jones or Blade the happy new home they deserve, contact Blue Cross Lewknor on 0300 777 1500 or email Lewknor@bluecross.org.uk.
