On October 24th, peacefully in hospital, Des aged 67 years of Wasdale Road, Millom, Cumbria, formerly of Grove, Wantage, beloved husband of Dawn, loving father of Rachel, Rebecca & Nathan, grandad of 16 and friend to many. The funeral service will be held on Friday 8th November at 10.45 am at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow in Furness, Cumbria. Family flowers only; donations in lieu towards The Stroke Association may be left at the crematorium or sent to Sheldon (Funeral Services) Ltd, Lapstone Road, Millom, Cumbria, LA18 4BZ.
