LAMBLE Josephine (Josie) nee Turney Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 1st June, aged 89. She will be sadly missed by her sons Graham, Colin and all her family and friends. The Funeral Service will be held at St James the Great, West Hanney on Thursday 27th June at 2.30pm. Family flowers only but donations are welcome for Golden Services and Wantage District Nurses. I will always remember my auntie Josy so kind caring and loads of fun.
Always desperate to go and see the tomatoes in uncle stans greenhouse and sneak one to eat that auntie Josy picked
So many amazing memories
Both dad and me loved bring Ami lover to see you and uncle Stan to have a massive tea and being able to have her pudding before her sandwiches
My dad came to life when he was there especially when auntie Josy would ask more cake Bob lol. Dads eye a to big for his belly but never ever said no.
Auntie Josys cakes were the best ever and I’d always get a doggy bag for Ami to munch on in dads car back home
I loved the walks around the meads and stroking the horses at the back garden going for the village walks showing us where uncle Stan and my dad Bob lamble lived when they were babies
It’s time for you to go to uncle Stan and look down on us all and keep an eye on the hedgehogs in the back garden
