SMALE Maurice It is with great sadness that the family of Maurice Smale announces his passing after a brief illness on Sunday 17th September 2023 at the age of 89. Maurice passed away peacefully at the JR Hospital, Oxford and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ruth of 64 years, his children Shaun, Sid and Nigel, Grandchildren and friends. Maurice worked at Didcot Power Station until retirement, from there he continued to pursue various hobbies and interests. Funeral service to be held at South Oxfordshire Crematorium, Garford, Abingdon OX13 5PA at 10:00 on Friday 20th October 2023. Family flowers only, no black please, casual dress.
