JONES Marion Sadly, Marion Jones passed away in February 2023 at the age of 85 years. She had lived in Wantage since the 1960's and was well known to many in the town in her roles of wife to her late husband Alan, mother, grandma and great grandma, auxillary nurse, runner, cyclist and as a good friend. Her funeral will be held at Wantage Methodist Church on Monday 27th March 2023 at 1pm. The family are arranging flowers and donations in Marion's memory are being collected for Alzheimer's Research either at the funeral or on the Just Giving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mark-jones317 After the funeral service the family will accompany Marion to the Chain Hill Cemetery for the internment with her beloved husband. After that there will be a celebration of Marion's life at The Bear Hotel in Wantage, so if you knew and liked Marion, please do join us.
