JONES Michael Alan We are sad to announce the passing of Michael Alan Jones on 26th October 2022 at the age of 81, beloved father of Caroline, Warren and husband of Janet (formerly Janet Martin). Michael joined the Royal Air Force as a boy entrant to become an RAF Photographer. He spent succeeding years working at Harwell research centre, before pursuing a career as a respected property developer. He developed many barns in and around the South Oxfordshire area before moving to the Cotswolds to continue his talent for creating beautiful homes. As an aviation enthusiast, Michael gained a pilot's licence and was passionate about renovating and flying light aircraft. Later flying his Rallye from his airstrip at Upper Harford, Bourton On The Water in the Cotswolds. Michael was well known for his kindness, integrity and generosity. He will be greatly missed. The memorial service will take place on the 24th November, 11.30am, 2022 at Mary's Church, Long Whittenham, Oxfordshire. Donations to RAFA Royal Air Forces Association.
