GRIFFITHS Deirdre Josephine of Letcombe Regis, Wantage. Passed away with her daughters and sister by her side on Tuesday 25th January. Wife to the late John, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Deirdre was born in Gravesend, and spent much of her early years in Whitstable, the eldest of five siblings. Deirdre left loving memories from Kent to Nairobi, Whitchurch Hill to Brightwell-cum-Sotwell and finally in Letcombe Regis and Bampton. From taking a walk with her and one of the dogs to having a chat over a cup of tea with a piece of WI cake, whatever your memory, you came away feeling life was so much better. If you have a loving memory, come and celebrate her life: The funeral service will be held on March 16th at 11am at St Mary's Church, East Hendred, followed by her being laid to rest alongside her husband John and Penny at the Letcombe Regis burial ground.
