GOWER Joan Eleanor Passed away peacefully on 12 May 2020. Late of The Meadows Care Home, Didcot and formerly of Wood Street Wallingford. Partner of the late Michael Hoare. Will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Due to current restrictions, a private service will be held. No flowers please. Donations in memory of Joan to OSJCT Amenity Fund. So sad to learn that Joan has slipped away. We only met her in her twilight years but grew to love her for the kind, caring, humerous lady she was. She befriended our aunt, Doris Henley also of the Meadows. The pair were inseparable and fltted about the home like two wee birds. A cockneey sparrow in Joan's case.
I would tease her, my wife Linda and I will miss her. God bless.
