Two restaurants have been handed new food hygiene ratings by the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
The FSA inspects hospitality venues and rates them on a zero to five scale for food hygiene, zero being the worst score and five the best.
Olivier at The Red Lion, a gastropub in Britwell Salome, Watlington, was handed a three out of five hygiene score following an assessment on June 16.

The Nags Head, a pub and restaurant in Bridge Street, Abingdon was also assessed on June 16 and was given a two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
In South Oxfordshire, of the 272 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 139 (51 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
While in the Vale of White Horse, of the district’s 172 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 119 (69 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
