Public Footpath, Didcot - Great Western Park
NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 THE SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH DIDCOT (GREAT WESTERN PARK) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER (No 4) 2011
The above order was made on 15th November 2011. The effect of the order will be to divert the footpath described in Schedule 1 to this notice as shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at South Oxfordshire District Council, Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford, Oxon OX10 8ED from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £10
Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Democratic Services Manager South Oxfordshire District Council, Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford, Oxon OX10 8ED not later than 16th December. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, South Oxfordshire District Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
SCHEDULE 1 - PART 1
Description of site of existing footpath path (A-B as indicated on the map) Path to be Extinguished
The full width of the public footpath commencing at Grid Reference SU 5092 9057 (Point A on the Plan) and proceeding in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 190 metres to Grid Reference SU 5110 9049 (Point B on the Plan)
PART 2
Description of site of alternative footpath (A-C-D as indicated on the map) Path to be Created
Public Footpath, 2 metres wide, commencing at Grid Reference SU 5092 9057 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 16 metres to Grid Reference SU 5091 9056 (Point C on the Plan) then turning and running in a generally south easterly direction for a approximately 176 metres to Grid Reference SU 5107 9047 (Point D on the Plan) where it joins the diverted alignment of another footpath.
