Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Oxford Lane, Grove - Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 10 October 2011, Coming into force: 17 October 2011

This Order is being introduced because of gas main replacement works in part of Oxford Lane which is anticipated to take 6 weeks to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding,when the appropriate signage is displayed, in that part of Oxford Lane from its junction with Station Road to its junction with North Drive.

Exemptions are included for police, ?re and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The altemative route is via Station Road and Main Street 81 vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
