Oxfordshire County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14 (1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Sunningwell Road, Sunningwell - Prohibition of Through Traf?c

Date of Order: 17 October 2011, Coming into force: 24 October 2011

This Order is being introduced because of culvert improvement works in part of Sunningwell Road which is anticipated to take one week to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding when the appropriate signage is displayed, in that part of Sunningwell Road from its iunction with Wootton Road to its junction with Dark Lane.

Exemptions are included for police, ?re and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.The alternative route is viaWootton Road, Dunmore Road and Oxford Road & vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner:
