Stocks Lane Level Crossing, Steventon - Prohibition of Through Traf?c
Date of Order: 3 October 2011, Coming into force: 9 October 2011
This Order is being introduced because of level crossing maintenance works at Stocks Lane Level Crossing which is anticipated to take one day to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding from 00:30hrs to 08:20hrs, when the appropriate signage is displayed, across Stocks Lane Level Crossing.
Exemptions are included for police, ?re and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route is via The Causeway, Mill Street and Castle Street & vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner:
