Notice of Temporary Traffic Order West Challow, Silver Lane - Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 26 September 2011 Coming into force: 3 October 2011
This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works in part of Silver Lane which is anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, in Silver Lane from its junction with the A417 to its junction with the B4507.
Exemptions are included for police, ?re and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via the B4507, East Challow and the A417 & vice versa.
