Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Wantage,Wallingford Street - Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 19 September 2011 Coming into force: 29 September 2011

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works in part of Wallingford Street which is anticipated to take 2 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to prohibit arly vehicle from proceeding, when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, in that part of Wallingford Street from its junction with Market Place to its junction with Seesen Way.

Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road.

The altemative route for tra?ic affected by the closure is via Ormond Road, Newbury Street and Market Place & vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner:
