Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Hollandtide Lane, Chalgrove, Ewelme & Newington Parishes - Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 26 September 2011 Coming into force: 3 October 2011
This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works in Hollandtide Lane which is anticipated to take 2 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, in Hollandtide Lane.
Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via B4009, Roke, Berrick Salome and Berrick Prior & vice versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
