Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order - Bridleway Closure,

Bridlway 1, Appleford-on-Thames and Bridleway 11, Long Wittenham

Date of Order: 22 August 2011 Coming into force: 5 September 2011

This Order is being introduced to allow bridge repairs to take place in Bridlway 1, Appleford-on-Thames and Bridleway 11, Long Wittenham which is anticipated to take five days to complete.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedestrian, cyclist or horserider from proceeding in Bridlway 1, Appleford-on-Thames and Bridleway 11, Long Wittenham (east of Appleford and south of the river).

There is no official alternative route.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
