Notice of Temporary Traffic Order - Foxhall Railway Bridge, Didcot

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Foxhall Railway Bridge, Didcot - Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 22 August 2011 Coming into force: 25 August 2011

This Order is being introduced because of railway bridge inspection works in part of Foxhall Road which is anticipated to take one day to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding from 9am to 4pm, when the appropriate signage is displayed, in that part of Foxhall Road across the railway bridge.

Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road.

The alternative routes for traffic affected by the closure are: via Basil Hill Road, A4130 and B4493 & vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
