Notice of Temporary Traf?c Order A329, Newington Temporary Prohibition of through Traf?c

Date of Order: 15 August 2011
Coming into force: 22 August 2011

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works to be carried out in part of the A329 at Newington which it is anticipated will take 2 days to complete. The effects of die Order are to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, in that part of the A329 southwards from the Drayton St Leonard road for a distance of 1200 metres. Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is the and the A4074 8: vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner:
