ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Sunningwell, Bayworth Lane & Brumcombe Lane
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 8 August 2011
Coming into force: 15 August 2011

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works in part of Bayworth Lane and Brumcombe Lane which is anticipated to take 5 days to complete.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, from Brumcombe on Brumcombe Lane to 60 metres north of

Orchard Lea on Bayworth Lane.

Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road.

The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via Green Lane, Oxford Road (Bagley Wood) and Foxcombe Road & vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
