Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Croft Road, Wallingford
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 25 July 2011
Coming into force: 1 August 2011

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway reconstruction works to be carried out in Croft Road which it is anticipated will take 3 weeks to complete.

The effects of the Order are to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, in Croft Road.

Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road.

The alternative route for northbound traffic affected by the closure is via St Johns Road, St Martins Street and High Street.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via High Street, St Marys Street and St Johns Road.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
