Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
A4130, Didcot - Prohibition of Through Traffic & 30mph Speed Limit
Date of Order: 1 August 2011
Coming into force: 6 August 2011

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works in part of the A4130, Didcot which is anticipated to take 3 nights to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding between 8.00pm and 6.00pm in that part of A4130 from its junction with Basil Hill Road to its junction with Hawksworth. A temporary 30mph speed limit will also apply throughout the day.

Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via A4130, Abingdon Road, Station Road, and B4493 & vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
