Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Various Roads, Drayton St Leonard - Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 1 August 2011
Coming into force: 8 August 2011

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works in Drayton St Leonard which is anticipated to take a total of 10 days to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding when the appropriate signage is displayed, in;
a) the un-named road from its junction with the A329 to its junction with Stadhampton Road, for 5 days from 8 August 2011 and
b) that part of Dorchester Road from Drayton St Leonard to its junction with Wally Corner, for 5 days from 15 August 2011.

Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic affected by closure a) is via A329 A4074, Wimblestraw Road, Burcot Lane and Dorchester Road & vice versa. The alternative route for traffic affected by closure b) is via Dorchester Road, Burcot Lane, Wimblestraw Road, A4074 and A329 & vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
