THE SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL - NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

THE SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL

PUBLIC FOOTPATH DIDCOT No 21 (PT) (GREAT WESTERN PARK) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER (No 1) 2015

On 27 July 2015 South Oxfordshire District Council confirmed the above Order.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the footpath as described in Schedule 1 of this notice and as shown on the Order map.

A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at South Oxfordshire District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton OX14 4SB from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £10.

This Order will come into force on the date that Oxfordshire County Council certifies the Order, but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any
regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may
apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act.

SCHEDULE PART 1

Description of site of existing footpath path (B-A - G as indicated on the map) Path to be extinguished


The whole width of that part of Public Footpath, Didcot No 21 commencing at Grid Reference SU 5056 9047
(Point B) and running in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 52 metres to Grid
Reference SU 5060 9047 (Point A) and then in a north easterly direction for distance of approximately 128 metres to Grid Reference SU 5069 9057 (Point G).

PART 2

Description of site of alternative footpath (C-D-E-F - G) as indicated on the map) Path to be created


Public Footpath, 2 metres wide commencing at Grid Reference 5050 9051 (Point C) and running in a gener­ally north north-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 28 metres to Grid Reference SU 5049 9054 (Point D) then running in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 134 metres to Grid Reference SU 5058 9063 (Point E) before turning and running in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 93 metres to Grid Reference SU 5064 9058 (Point F) and then running in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 47 metres to Grid Reference SU 5069 9057 (Point G).
