Notice of Temporary Tra?ic Order St George's Road,Wallingford Temporary Prohibition of Through Traf?c

Date of Order: 1 August 2011 Coming into force: 8 August 2011

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works to be carried out in part of St George's Road which it is anticipated will take 5 days to complete.

The effects of the Order are to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, when the appropriate traflic signs are displayed, in that part of St George's Road from its junction with Barncroft to its junction with Millington Road.

Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works and for vehicular access to adjacent premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road.

The altemative route for traffic affected by the closure is via Clapcot Way, St Nicholas Road and Station Road & vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner:
