JAMES Clayton was Abingdon’s top performer when finishing seventh at a hilly Woodcote 10k.

He set a personal best of 37mins 53secs, with Lucy Shelton the club’s first female to cross the line in 53rd.

Abingdon’s Rosie Davies recorded a pb to finish as the second lady in the Not the Roman IX 12k.

l THE Abingdon 10k takes place on Sunday at 10.30am, starting at Tilsley Park.

Entries will be accepted on the day between 9.30 and 10.15, costing £15.00.
