A YOUNG woman has been sentenced after being caught threatening someone with a pair of scissors.
Carys Hayes, 23, was caught on February 3 this year in Fitzharry's Road, Abingdon using threatening or insulting words and behaviour towards a paramedic causing her harassment, alarm and distress.
She was also caught with a pair of scissors and charged with possession of a sharp-pointed article in a public place.

On January 22, she was also charged with beating another woman.
Hayes, of Fitzharry's Road, was also charged with two counts of beating a police officer on December 1 last year and one count of common assault of a paramedic on February 3.
At Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (March 19), Hayes was handed a community order.
There were no orders for costs.
