In celebration of its 30th anniversary, a Wallingford business park is offering free public access to a range of its nature-related events.
Howbery Business Park's offering includes experiences with honeybees and in-depth talks and walks about bugs, bumblebees, and butterflies, either at the park or inside the Manor House.
Upcoming events include a bumblebee talk on April 24, while visitors can look forward to a glimpse into honey extraction and bottling during an autumn drop-in session at the Manor Cafe.
Howbery Park Estates Manager, Donna Bowles, said: "We are opening up our events because of our commitment to promoting biodiversity to the wider community as part of a six-year biodiversity programme.
"Sustainability is at the heart of our park, and this is a way of using our good fortune in having such a beautiful park to the benefit of people and wildlife."
Advance registration is required for all events due to limited slots, and can be done online.
Certain activities like the hanging basket and wreath-making workshops come with a fee covering material costs.
Ms Bowles added: "Our grounds are open during our working weeks for visitors to wander or sit in.
"We would also encourage people to amble round our tree trail – a leaflet can be collected from our Manor Cafe, which is also open to the public.
"We’re planning some other events to celebrate our 30th anniversary too – we’ll be sharing details of those soon."
