A VISITING traveller site has been spotted setting up near a new housing development in Didcot.
People have spotted the camp being set up at the bottom of Taylor Wimpey’s Great Western Park development near the A4130 roundabout.
The Taylor Wimpey developers have been informed about the site as well as Oxfordshire Country Council and Thames Valley Police.

Councillor Sally Povolotsky, a liberal democrat party member who represents Hendreds and Harwell on the country council, said: “County council, police and Taylor Wimpey all have been informed.
“I past by the site yesterday. However it’s important to note that Great Western Park is not adopted yet by the council.
“So it is up to Taylor Wimpey to issue eviction orders. Our traveller team has also been informed.”
